Want the RV experience but don’t have an RV? That's not a problem! If you are considering purchasing an RV and want to try out RV living without buying one, we have added an RV to our vacation units. It is a 2022, 28-foot 5th Wheel with two slides that we are now renting as a Vacation Rental. It has a queen-sized bed with plenty of storage space for all your belongings, a full kitchen and bath, a Intelligent TV, a fireplace in the living room and bedroom, and a dining area/living room area. The RV sleeps two comfortably, but the dining room booths convert to a double bed.

The RV is close to the Intracoastal Waterway and a short distance to Historic Beaufort, Havelock, Newport, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach. Bring your boat, you have complimentary access to the boat ramp and fishing pier. We have boats to rent for ½ and a full day on-site. We can hook (no pun intended) you up with a charter boat if you want to fish offshore. Downtown Beaufort has an array of amazing stores and superb eateries. When you book, we will give you a map of the area, coupons, and a special offer when you return!

About the Area

Core Creek Bridge and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Bock Marine and Jarrett Bay Marine Industrial Park. Finding the best vacation rental experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Morehead City area. To book the best rental within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have money saving offers on local accommodations and attractions.

Filter your search:

  • To start, have your family select vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Charming RV in Fantastic Beaufort with AC, WiFi has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the host before booking the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what configuration is right for your vacation family.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

Some things to know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. Store the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many concerns.
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • Make a record of any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if damages are assessed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your peaceful home. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a wonderful vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
