We named the home Nimbus Novem which was the name of our first sailboat, a 1972 29 foot Ericson that was our young family's camper on the water from 1999 to 2015. Nimbus Novem or Cloud Nine translated from Latin, was constructed in 2019 in the community of Beaucoast and is a 2nd home for the Exums. The home runs off a solar array system with Tesla panels and 2 whole-home backup Tesla Powerwall batteries. You will adore this classic beach home that sits right on the ocean with upstairs and downstairs porches affording exceptional vistas and ocean access! It is comfortable and cozy, old school, with no frills, but with all that is needed for a fun stay at the beach in a super location. There are 2 full baths with showers, a third bath with a claw foot tub, and another half bath. The downstairs master has private bath and king bed. The upstairs has 4 bedrooms, 2 with king size beds. One of the king rooms also has 3 twins and is usually claimed by our grandchildren. The other 2 bedrooms upstairs have queen size beds. There is a full bath with shower upstairs as well as a half bath. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower which we all seem to prefer in the summer. All linens are supplied, towels and sheets, as well as a supplied kitchen, including mixer, blender, processor, toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans and cooking silverware. There are games, books and puzzles that tend to accumulate over the years. Bikes, beach games/toys, rafts etc camp out in the basement/garage. The washer/dryer are in the basement as well. Most of our time is spent on the porch and front deck, overlooking the ocean. There is most often a incredible breeze and always a spectacular view.
