Throw a fishing line from the point or the floating dock or walk around and savor nature. A couple of Kayaks and paddles are available for you to use at your own risk obviously you supply your own life vest.

Located in Pine Knoll Shores, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Flatwaters Paddling and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting.

• Summer is high season in the Morehead City area. To find the best rental home within budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Morehead City restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
• The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
