Finding the best vacation home experience:

Finding the best value:

  • Summer is high season in Atlantic Beach. Book your rental property in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Morehead City visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain coupons for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

How to choose the perfect vacation home in Atlantic Beach:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration you need. Coastal Casa-Sound Front Home in Atlantic Beach, NC has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, contact the property owner before you reserve your home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your invoice.

Know before you go:

  • We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Document any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an excellent source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a fantastic stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
