Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, the game room, and the gas grilles. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the pretty, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells.

This delightfully decorated condo is located on the first floor, close to the ocean with a courtyard and pool view. Savor plenty of seating for the whole family in the living room, where you can appreciate your favorite shows on the huge cable TV or watch DVDs. Step outside, have a seat on the balcony and relax in the fresh ocean air. You'll also find a completely equipped kitchen with all the necessary major and modest appliances (including a stacked washer/dryer in the closet) and a dining table for guests.

The primary bedroom features a TV, a ceiling fan, private balcony access, and a private bathroom with a stall shower. The second bedroom, located near the second full bathroom, has a ceiling fan and a TV. A sleeper couch and complimentary WiFi are supplied as well.

Fort Macon State Park and Beaufort Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Raceway and Mount Maker Charters are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are high season in the Morehead City area. To get the largest rental home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance.
