About the Area

Located in Atlantic Beach, this condo is by the ocean. Coral Bay Shopping Center and Morehead Plaza Shopping Center are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Fort Macon State Park and Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail. North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and North Carolina Maritime Museum are also worth visiting. Jet skiing, scuba diving, and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Morehead City area, The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain deals for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

  • Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about your furry family members before booking.
  • Visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

Tips to have a fantastic stay:

  • We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of concerns.
  • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
  • To make sure damages are not linked to your family's visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the property manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to compel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
