BEACON'S REACH - GUEST RULES:

1. No more than a total of 12 persons, including kids, shall be allowed to occupy a rental unit. Use of the common areas (pool, beach, etc.) by more than a total of 12 persons, including kids, from a rental unit at a time is not allowed, unless approved in advance by the association. Group events by renters are not allowed.

2. Parking permits or guest passes are required on all cars at all times. Parking of all cars shall be on the unit’s driveway, under the unit, or in the garage as appropriate. No cars shall be parked on the shoulder of the road. Boats, boat trailers, utility, and other work trailers, unlicensed motor cars, jet skis, recreational cars, travel trailers, campers, fifth-wheel trailers, all-terrain cars, and similar items used on land or water may not be parked on any street within Beacon’s Reach, on a driveway or yard, except in an enclosed garage or other approved parking area within Beacon’s Reach.

3. Noise coming from a rental unit, including noise from TVs, radios and any other audio equipment must be kept at a reasonable sound level as to not infringe upon the peaceful enjoyment of the neighbors and the neighborhood. Particular care should be paid to hours before 8 a.m. and after 10 p.m.

Please Note: Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are stringently prohibited unless approved by management.

Getting the best value:

• Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Morehead City area. Book your Morehead City rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
• Document any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if damages are assessed.
• Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an excellent resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
• Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.

If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it.
