For great shopping and dining, head into downtown Atlantic Beach (less than two miles), Morehead City (four miles), or Beaufort (eight miles).

When to book a Morehead City rental & When to go:

• In the Morehead City area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
