Croatan National Forest and Emerald Isle Woods Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Forest Golf. • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Emerald Isle. To find the best value, consider shifting your family's Morehead City vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, , and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation!
