Appreciate the radiant North Carolina sunshine while you sample multiple beaches, discover Fort Macon State Park, or visit the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, just five-and-a-half miles west.

While there are multiple eateries within walking distance, these side-by-side units both boast well-equipped, full kitchens with stainless steel appliances to make meal prep a joy. You'll also find dining areas (a breakfast bar with counter seating in one unit and a table and chairs in the other) and comfortable living spaces for socializing and entertaining. Outside, relax and watch the world go by from the furnished porch or the upper-level balconies, or head to the back yard where younger guests can run and play.

• Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
• Booking websites usually offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
