Unwind and relax at Our Getaway a peaceful place to stay.
Our Getaway condo is in the ideal location for a couple who appreciate boating fishing and the water. We are located within walking distance of a fishing pier. 1 hour to beaches, including Beaufort, Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, and Oriental.
There's no need to leave the comfort of our condominium community for a day of fun. It offers 2 swimming pools, gym, basketball, tennis courts, mini-golf, and much more! All included with your stay.

The Condo is on the second floor , no elevator , just one flight of stair

About the Area

New Bern is home to this condo. Greater Good Art Gallery and North Carolina History Center at Tryon Palace are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include New Bern Civic Theatre and B'nai Sholem Temple.

When to book & When to go:

• Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To get the most suitable rental within budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
• Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a discount.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.

If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
