Sound of the Sea is a well maintained gated community in Emerald Isle. Short walking distance to grocery store, stores, movies, eateries, Putt-Putt, bicycle units, surfing units, bait stand, and more! Handsome sandy beach is never busy. Head east on beach and walk one mile to Bogue Pier, head west and walk 3 miles to the beautiful "Point."

Rents Saturday to Saturday. Second floor condo, 2BR, 1-1/2B. 2Q rooms. Linens, bath towels and beach towels supplied. Entirely equipped kichen, washer/dryer, 2 cable TV's, DVD player, stereo with CD player, wireless hi-speed internet access. Spiral staircase to 2nd floor BR's. 2 decks. Good ocean view. About the Area

Located in Emerald Isle, this condo is in the city center and near the beach. Salty Pirate Water Park and Emerald Forest Golf are local attractions and those in the mood for shopping can visit Emerald Plantation and Salty Air Open Market. The Sweet Spot and Emerald Isle Adventures are also worth visiting.

You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
