Southwinds E-5 is conveniently located on the first floor and has ocean and sound vistas. Great for families or a charming hideaway for two, with painless access to the pool and ocean. With a pool behind this building that you can see from the deck, this is a great unit for family with kids! Totally modernized. Immaculate condition. 2 bedrooms, 2 full big bathrooms. 1 queen, 1 queen, 2 twin bunk beds. Full kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, glass top stove, refrigerator, new front-loading washer/dryer. Free high-speed WiFi. 40" HD TV, Blu-Ray player and Roku in Living Room. HD TV and Roku in main bedroom. Southwinds is a family friendly ocean front condominium complex with two swimming pools, grilles, and additional laundry facilities on site. It is a short drive down the road or a short walk down the beach to get to Fort Macon State Park. No smoking and no family pets! Southwinds does not allow trailers or boats to be parked here. Includes bedroom linens, bath towels, and cleaning. Family friendly and great for kids in the summer. In the Spring/Fall, great for romantic getaways and slow calming.

When to go & When to reserve a Morehead City rental home:

  • Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • In the Morehead City area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance.   • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
