Exclusive, complimentary, private ocean front gated parking lot with an outdoor shower and boardwalk to the beach. Avoid hordes, lines, and paying for parking! When headed to the beach with chairs, cooler, towels, etc it's nice to drive over and park ocean front! The home is 0.5 mi from the private beach access. So you can walk to it too. Our private beach access is just one block from the Bogue Inlet Pier with public bathrooms, a convenience store, Surf's Up ocean front restaurant, tackle shop and impressive fishing!

The master has a tempur-pedic hybrid california king with a base for raising and lowering head and feet! There a king in the first guest room and a queen in the second. New in 2023 a whole home water filtration and softening system. Kitchen and bathrooms modernized in 2022. New appliances, cabinets, tile, kitchen countertop space tripled, master bath converted to a walk in shower, etc.! Brand new HVAC May 2022. The back deck and much of the backyard privacy fencing was replaced in 2020. In 2020, the entire private beach access boardwalk was replaced and the dock at the sound side Cedar Street Park was completely rebuilt. The sound side dock is just 0.2 miles from the home! This home was initially modernized in 2019 with brand new furnishings, floor and paint. While there will be a Vacation Rental By Owner fee at checkout, there will be no additional costs from the owner for linens, cleaning, crib or high chair.

This property is thoroughly cleaned every week. Rest assured the home is disinfected including every light switch, door handle, etc!

Elegantly landscaped property with a very private backyard, sizable outdoor shower with hot water, huge deck and gas grille. Sun room overlooking the backyard. One story, so NO stairs to climb! Master suite has a cal king bed and private bath, a king and queen in the other 2 bedrooms. Hampers in each room, separate laundry room and outdoor clothes line.

Roku TV's in every bedroom and living room with Cable TV, Hulu subscription on each TV for a enormous selection of TV shows and movies! Blu-ray in living room, high speed internet, modern furnishings and decor, many games to play, entirely outfitted kitchen, plenty of dishes and cutlery to last the day .

Located in the heart of EI so you can walk to many stores and eateries. Several grocery stores are just 4 mins. from the home. Walk to the sound front Cedar Street Park at the end of the street (0.2mi), sit on the bench at the end of the dock and savor our glorious sunsets! It's also ideal for cyclists...11 mile bicycle path. Bring your bicycles! (units available on the island).

Linens supplied (bed sheets, blanket, 4 pillows per bed, towel sets, which include a bath, hand and wash cloth per person as well as bath mats are also supplied). The kitchen includes 2 dish towels and 2 dish cloths. Free first trash bag, 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, a roll of paper towels, and salt, pepper and spices to get your calming vacation started. Also included is hand soap next to each sink. Free crib and high chair available.

Hurricanes: Travel insurance when booking through Vacation Rental By Owner is optional, but is strongly recommended for this time of year. If you choose not to purchase insurance, no refunds will be given in the event of cancellation, including mandatory hurricane evacuation.

While no family pets are allowed, the owner's dog has been inside of the home, so pet dander may be present.

When to visit & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Morehead City area. To get the most suitable rental home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your contract.
  • If there's an individual Morehead City destination you simply love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental

During your stay:

  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to drive new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review.
