Center of Emerald Isle, private beach parking lot! The beach access is just over a block from Bogue Inlet Pier where there are public bathrooms, shopping, a restaurant and great fishing! Very short walk or drive to the private beachfront parking in gated lot with showers onsite at the access. The access fob used for the gated lot is supplied with the home. Very short walk to “downtown Emerald Isle” where there are stores, eateries and nightlife. 3 min. walk to Cedar Street pier on the sound. Linens included, including bath & beach towels, washcloths and kitchen towels. Charcoal grille and picnic table onsite. Enormous outdoor shower beside the home. Grand driveway for boats and multiple cars. Quiet, dead end street, open floor plan, king in master and queens in 2nd & 3rd bedrooms. Pullout couch in living room. 500 mbps Internet - Spectrum Ultra package! Dish and hand soaps are included. First couple of trash bags are supplied.

When to book a Morehead City rental home & When to go:

  • In the Morehead City area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.

  • Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
