Booking the best rental experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Summer months are high season in Atlantic Beach. Reserve your vacation in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Morehead City vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, management companies supply Morehead City area travel guides which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Morehead City visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and choose the right Morehead City rental:

  • Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. A Place at the Beach III Family Resort. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a rental that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. .

More considerations:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • During check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a great stay? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
