Atlantic Beach rental home booking tips:

When to visit & When to book:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in Atlantic Beach. To get the largest rental home within your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Morehead City attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Morehead City area visitor guides which include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Morehead City visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning, picking, and booking the right Morehead City rental:

  • Start by having your family agree to vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Come, relax and enjoy all that Atlantic Beach has to offer!! has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property owner before booking the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is optimal for your group.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your smartphone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your visit, record any problem areas during check in. E-mail the rental manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
